Returns & Exchange Policy

At The Sailing Loom, we want you to love what you wear. If something doesn't work out, we're here to help with returns and exchanges.

Return & Exchange Window

You may request a return or exchange within 7 days from the date of delivery.

Conditions for Return/Exchange

To be eligible, items must be:

  • Unused, unwashed, and unaltered
  • In their original condition
  • With all original tags, labels, and packaging intact

Items that do not meet these conditions will not be accepted for return or exchange.

What Is Not Eligible

  • Customised outfits are not eligible for return. However, a size exchange can be availed for customised orders.
  • Items returned after the 7-day window
  • Items that show signs of wear, washing, or damage

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

  1. Send an email to contact@thesailingloom.com with your order number and reason for return/exchange.
  2. Our team will respond within 24–48 hours with instructions.
  3. Ship the item back to the address provided.

Shipping Charges for Returns/Exchanges

  • For your first return or exchange request on an order, to-and-fro shipping charges will be borne by us.
  • If a return or exchange is requested again after receiving the exchanged product, subsequent shipping charges will be borne by the customer.

Refunds & Credit Notes

  • We do not offer refunds or order cancellations.
  • In case of a return, a credit note will be issued for the order value. The credit note is valid for 1 year from the date of issuance and can be used on any future purchase.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Disclaimer

Please note that there may be minor variations in colour and texture between the product images on our website and the actual product, due to differences in screen settings and photography lighting. Such variations do not qualify as a defect.
